How to verify any page before paying

  1. Check the padlock and the exact spelling in the address bar. Look for transposed letters and hyphens. Lookalike domains are the oldest trick there is and they target exactly this moment.
  2. Confirm the checkout processor. Purchases run through Groove Sell. A checkout that asks for card details on a bare page with no recognisable processor is the thing to walk away from.
  3. Match the price. It should read $2,497, or 6 x $497. A different number means a different product or a different seller.
  4. Check the date. Cart closes 24 September 2026, 11:59pm PST. A page selling it afterwards is not the official one.
