Profit Workshop Review

The Britney Spears email

Subject lines in circulation include "[Case Study] From Britney Spears Fan Page to $400M in Commissions" and "His students have made over 400 million". Same mailing, different subject lines, because affiliates pick from a list the vendor supplies.

What the link goes to

A free report. No payment, no call, no webinar to sit through — a PDF in exchange for an email address. It is nineteen pages and it sets out the method in full. What is in it is summarised here.

Is the Britney Spears story true

It is the vendor's own account of his first commission in 1999: a banner ad on a Britney Spears fan page he had built, pointing at an online dating site. It appears consistently across his material going back years.

What makes it worth a second's attention is that it is oddly specific. A person inventing an origin story does not usually land on a fan site for a teen pop star and a dating affiliate offer, because the invented version is always tidier than that.

The $400 million, read properly

ClickBank has confirmed in writing that students of past programmes generated over $400 million in sales through that network. One of the later emails puts it at $403 million.

Students' aggregate sales. One network. Many years and many programmes. Not his personal income. Not a typical result. Not a forecast for you.

Read that way it is genuinely strong, because a payment processor has no reason to confirm a number it cannot support. Read as an earnings claim it is being misused, and some of the affiliates mailing it this week are misusing it. The full examination is here.

The "habit costing you reach"

The email teases one specific habit that quietly suppresses most affiliate marketers' distribution. The report names it: sending people off the platform. Every outbound click is read as a post that ended someone's session, and reach is trimmed accordingly — so the harder a post sells, the fewer people ever see it.

That is the actual mechanism behind the whole method and it is the most interesting thing in the sequence. Explained in full here.

The "number most marketers never look for"

Also in the report: roughly a quarter of any audience is also interested in making money online, regardless of what the audience was originally built around. The report works through what that does to the value of a list.

That section is the reason to read it even if you never buy anything.

Should you click

The link goes to a free report from a seller with a twenty-six year public record. The cost is an email address and twenty minutes. There is no payment step anywhere in it.

What follows is a sequence of further emails leading to four free sessions on 14 and 15 September and an offer at the end of them. That is the whole shape, stated up front so nothing surprises you.
