Profit Workshop Review

Profit Helix review

The single most useful thing to know about Profit Helix is that it and Commission Cycle are not competitors. They teach two different businesses, and choosing between them is a choice about what you want to own.

What it teaches

Building and selling your own digital products — courses, memberships, community built around Skool. You are the product owner. You set the price, you keep the margin, you carry the delivery and the support.

Who that suits

Someone with expertise, a topic they can teach, and the stomach for owning a product that customers will email about at 11pm. The upside is that the asset is yours and nobody can end the programme underneath you.

The cost is that you are running a real business with customers, not a promotion. That is a heavier commitment than it looks on a sales page, and it is the reason people who should have started with affiliate marketing sometimes start here and stall.

What Commission Cycle teaches instead

Promoting other people's products. No product to build, no support inbox, no refunds to process. You give up the margin and the ownership; you get to start this week rather than after you have built something.

Which one first

If you have never sold anything online, affiliate first. Not because the other is worse, but because selling somebody else's finished product teaches you what makes people buy, without you also having to build the thing they are buying. Then build your own once you know what sells.

That order is not controversial and most people who have done both will say it. It is also the order the seller's own catalogue implies.

What happens if you stopCustomers still need support Posting stops, nothing is owed

The last row is the one people underestimate. An own-product business has obligations that continue after your enthusiasm does, and that is a real difference in what you are signing up for rather than a detail.

Can you do both

Eventually, and the sequence is the same one described above: sell other people's products until you know what a buying audience responds to, then build the thing they have already told you they want. Doing it in that order means your first product is informed by demand rather than by a guess.

The crossover the current training is built around — the quarter of any audience who are also interested in making money online — is the mechanism that makes the transition natural rather than a restart. That is set out here.

Is Profit Helix still worth looking at

If you already have an audience or an expertise and the bottleneck is product rather than traffic, yes, that is the question it answers. If your bottleneck is traffic and you have nothing to sell yet, it is the wrong product for this year and Commission Cycle is the nearer fit.

The two are compared directly here.
