ManyChat runs a partner programme, and referring a tool you already use to people you are already teaching is one of the more natural affiliate positions available. It is also frequently misunderstood, because software commissions behave nothing like course commissions.

The practical consequence is that software referrals look like a poor trade for roughly half a year and then quietly stop looking that way. Anyone judging the programme on month one is measuring the wrong month.
Who is actually positioned to earn from it
People who teach the mechanic. If you are showing an audience how comment-to-DM works, they need the tool to do it, and the recommendation is the natural next sentence rather than a pitch you have to construct.
People who are not teaching it are in a much weaker position, because a software referral with no context attached competes with the vendor's own marketing on the vendor's own terms, and loses.
Why it pairs well with a launch commission rather than replacing it
The two do different jobs and the combination is stronger than either alone. A launch pays meaningfully and immediately, which funds the months while everything else is being built. A tool referral pays little and repeatedly, which slowly becomes the part of your income that does not depend on there being a launch on.
Building only the first means starting from zero every September. Building only the second means waiting a very long time for anything to happen. Most people who last in this business run both, deliberately.
The one thing that decides whether it is worth your time
Whether you would recommend the tool with no commission attached. If yes, the programme simply pays you for something you were going to do; if no, the recommendation will read exactly as hollow as it is, and it will cost you more in trust than it returns in commission.
That test sounds sentimental and it is actually the practical one, because a software referral only pays while the person keeps using the thing. Referring someone to a tool that does not suit them produces a commission for a month and a churned user afterwards, which is worse than no referral at all.
The honest constraint
You need an audience that trusts your recommendation before any of this pays. That is true of every affiliate offer, and it is more true of software, because someone adopting a tool is committing to learning it, not just to buying it.
Which puts the work back where it always is: build something people find useful, teach the mechanic properly, and the recommendations follow without effort. The training exists to shorten that sequence rather than to skip it.
